I've always had a love for drawing, but it's only in the past couple of years I've been able to go part time at work to pursue this creative pastime - and with no regrets. Like therapy, this activity fulfils a part of me that craves attention and absolution.
But I'm aware I'm still on a journey, still exploring different mediums, different styles, different techniques. And yet within this wide exploratory time, I'm finding myself as a multi-medium artist with a love of creating illustrative drawings to the opposite end of the spectrum - playing with textures and colours in abstract paintings.
My size work is also at opposite ends - from small A5 images to those larger that A1.
Not one size fits all, and I am certainly in this category.
Throughout the next few years my aim to find an audience that appreciates my work and to take joy in the images I produce. I visualise having my work in a gallery one day.
"To dream is to live."
